Creating something unique

When our client HP came to us with their latest challenge, “How to incentivise and engage their reseller, CDW to boost their sales efforts”, we knew we had to come up with a game-changing solution…something that would entice and excite the audience without sacrificing profit margins.

Thinking caps on, we looked to curate an experience second to none; one that would appeal, engage and motivate the team at CDW. Something that, ultimately, would create lasting memories for those lucky enough to win it.

Bringing it to life

We knew the team had a shared love of music, food and travel – we tapped into this big time. Picture this – a dual-destination journey starting in the scenic South of France and ending at the iconic Glastonbury Festival. Six days of pure bliss, luxury, and rock and roll, with each day offering unique VIP experiences to energise and reward the team.

From serene tranquillity to electrifying festival vibes, we crafted a perfect blend of leisure and excitement.

The ‘Road to Glasto’ experience was born.

An unforgettable journey

Day one set the tone for this unforgettable journey. The CDW sales team jetted off to picturesque Nice in the French Riviera, greeted with something cold and refreshing at the luxurious Anantara Hotel.

Next stop: renowned Chateau De Ballet for wine tasting. Free time in Nice followed, and as dusk settled, a gourmet dinner awaited at Le Reserve, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

An action-packed day

As dawn broke on day two, the CDW sales team took a helicopter ride to St. Tropez, enjoying breath-taking views of the French Riviera. Next, water sports on a private yacht, building great friendships, exploring the area.

A lunch onboard refuelled them, including a signature ‘Road to Glasto’ cocktail, with the afternoon bringing them a wander around the St. Tropez with its quaint shops and bustling cafes. In the evening, they gathered at a private roof terrace for dinner and drinks, overlooking the city.

Travelling in style

On the third day, the dream trip continued with a flight back to Bristol where our party were whisked away in Rolls-Royces to Glastonbury Festival. Exclusive access to a VIP private enclosure meant rubbing shoulders with celebs like Joe Wicks and Sienna Miller.

They even had their own private yoga retreat to unwind and recharge. The day captured the diverse and unforgettable moments of the trip – from the style of the Cote d’Azur to the energy of Glasto.

Getting into the festival spirit

The next couple of days were truly enjoying the madness that is Glasto. From ‘Guns N’ Roses’ on the Pyramid Stage to Sir Elton John the grand finale.

The magic of Elton’s music, accompanied by a cracking fireworks display, marked a perfect end to the festival experience, leaving nothing but unforgettable memories.

A trip to remember

Our ‘Road to Glasto’ event really was epic (according to those that went ?). A combination of creativity, meticulous planning, attention to detail and ‘on the ground’ organisation really helped to strengthen

HP’s relationship with CDW leaving us with a very happy client, and an equally happy (albeit tired) group of attendees.

Now we’re asking ourselves, “How on earth are we going to beat that?!!!”
