In January 2024, we recruited, inducted, trained and deployed a team of 42 expert promoters to support customers at Samsung’s ‘ILP’ experiential launch spaces at Westfield shopping centres in London.
In January 2024, we recruited, inducted, trained and deployed a team of 42 expert promoters to support customers at Samsung’s ‘ILP’ experiential launch spaces at Westfield shopping centres in London.
Samsung’s desire was to go one step beyond an ‘expert’ team and provide a team that could take customer engagement to the next level. Our challenge was to deliver an expert team that could create unique, engaging experiences for customers.
– We evaluated and refined the way we source, recruit and train our experiential promoter teams
– JDs for all roles were re-evaluated to ensure we attracted the right candidates
– We used AI-enabled recruitment tools to accurately profile and support finding our ideal candidates
– We created a completely new role within the promoter team with a core focus on customer engagement, the ‘Experience Specialist’
– We reviewed and explored our talent hub database to find our perfect matches
– All culminating in an assessment day, hosted by our own Talent team, to select those candidates that with the chemistry, approach and talent to deliver an exceptional customer experience
– Working with Samsung’s MX Training Team, we redeveloped the internal induction process (taking place over a 4-day period) to ensure our chosen team were set up for success
A successful month-long experiential activation led by a team that not only informed customers of Samsung’s new flagship devices and features but provided a unique end-to-end memorable experience for every customer.
We couldn’t be more proud of this team and the results they achieved.
